You are right. there seems to be an issue with blanking out the site root once you have set one. if you delete the site and re-add it, and don't choose a path when re-adding it, it will work ...

The only thing i can think of is making sure the file extension is in lowercase (ie: filename.pdf instead of filename.pdf), seems to be a little bug with fckeditor.
